For the first time in Hungary
In Hungary, more than ten thousand tons of waste lie around in various landfills. The capacity of Hungarian landfills is insufficient and many of them will fill up in the next 1-3 years. New landfills are not constructed due to the lack of finances.
Most operators cannot afford the recultivation of closed landfills. The amount of waste illegally dumped has not been decreasing.
